COUNSELORS
NEMC is now accepting applications for the
2010 Counseling Staff
Applicants
- Have reached the age of nineteen and completed at least one year of college or similar experience prior to the opening of camp.
- Submit applications by February 1, 2010.
- Provided 3 Letters of Reference
Counselor responsibilities include:
- Live in cabins with campers (ages 12-18)
- Supervise campers in living areas
- Plan and supervise afternoon recreational programs and evening social programs
- Work cooperatively with other counselors and staff members
**As counselors do not have any responsibilities in the music portion of the NEMC program, musical ability has no bearing on the hiring process.
2010 Counselor Application Packet
The application packet includes a cover letter, two-page application, page of questions, reference form and availability form for Boston Youth Symphony Camp in August following NEMC camp session. All forms are also listed below. Forms are in PDF format. If you are unable to download the forms or have any further questions or concerns about the hiring process, please contact Heather Godfrey, Head Girl's Counselor or Gerry Micera, Head Boy's Counselor and the application packet can be sent via regular mail.
